That looks to be not quite an inch high, and is supposed to melt. At least they did it during the day, right? Are you the one who always complains about how they do it? I agree that it's not perfect, but the sidewalk is passable, the street is done, what is there is not high enough to have to climb or get in the way of the tires.

The point "guest" is that I do not "always complain" about how they do it. I have reported when they do it incorrectly and create a traffic hazard and safety issue. Any person with common sense should realize that you do not blow the snow from sidewalks into the street hoping it will melt later in the day; especially when New Haven has had parking bans through out the winter. People on South Water street were required to park where they were blowing the snow that day. If you are one of the lucky resident s that has off street parking this would seem like a non-issue for those of us that had to comply with parking bans this makes a difficult situation worse. Comes down to common sense and common courtesy

This issue is being closed as the snow season has ended and there is no longer any snow on the ground. If this occurs again during the winter, please report a new issue once it happens. Thank You
