Description

People keep partially blocking the entrance to our back parking lot. This is a pic taken via security web cam of a Grayish SUV type vehicle with the license plate "Used dealer" 1567BI it's a Nissan Xterra. As you can see just like the last vehicle the rear end of this one is also partially blocking our driveway. Now, from the street it may look like there is pleanty of room to go around and there is, HOWEVER, there is a telephone pole on the right side of the entrance. Often times larger vehicles can not get around both the illegally parked person and the telephone pole. I proppose (once again) that there be a "No Parking" sign placed in front of our building, at least on that edge anyway. I actually think there are laws that state your vehicle has to be x amount of inches or feet away from a persons driveway anyway. Despite my calling the local police and emailing them picture evidence they haven't gotten back to me. I'm assuming as they drive by they make the false assumption that it looks clear. Or perhaps they haven't had time to get around to it. Also I've had to pick up trash that people are throwing out of their cars onto the sidewalk. Coffee cups, McD bags, soda and water bottles, gross tissues, and once even a diaper a neighbor had to scoop up with a shovel. Not only are people being inconsiderate when parking but they are also disgarding their trash on our street. These people may only work in this area and or go to school near by, however they are treating the residents on our end of Pine street with disrespect. Im not entirely upset about his as I've lived hear for 2 years and have now only started to complain. And in fact in the next year I hope to move, but still I thought I would at least make the suggestion that a "No parking" sign be put up on that corner where the driveway/entrance meets Pine St. Also Pine is a narrow street in a lot of places and people seem to be parking on both sides. I've noticed this makes it hard for traffic in general to weave around parked cars as obstacles. I do recall another post/report someone made a few months ago asking to turn Pine St. into a "one way street" and I agree. (the image may not show up in this post but will be seen by the BDN).
