I hit a pothole on I-40W somewhere between White Bridge Rd and Exit 199 in the right lane. Now it is going to cost me well over $2700 to fix my car (broken rack and pinion). Tell me how I'm supposed to come up with that money! Get it together, Nashville DOT! And your signs that say "Expect Potholes/Use Caution" are useless to drivers who have to do at least 40MPH on interstates! What am I supposed to do when I see a pothole? Swerve? Brake? What if I'm surrounded by cars, as I was when I hit that pothole that ruined my front end and steering? Seriously, do something quickly! Thank you very much. I apologize if I was snippy; I am just very frustrated and broke for a while.
