Why overnight parking on street is such a big deal while so many towns in Bergen county allow it. At least street on legal parking spots should be allowed.

Since this area has lot of commuters and every house has many cars which they have to manage somehow to fit in their small driveways. For example, there is a parking space right in front of my house where someone can park throughout the day but when I come home at night, when I really need the parking spot I can not park due to "No overnight parking on Street" rule.

If burglary is the only concern then pls note that thieves can park in somebody else's driveway for the same purpose.
