We live on hillcrest road and regularly travel down bond street. As you turn off if hillcrest down bond you get to the intersection of falcon and bond. There are stop sings on bond but not falcon. This presents a major safety hazard for the numerous children in the neighborhood. Cars drive very fast down falcon and can not see around that intersection. The fact that bond has such a large hill coming off of hillcrest presents a challenge as we promote kids biking to school. This could be a simple fix to make falcon and bond a four way stop. This would slow cars on falcon overall, which should happen anyway. While this is a safety hazard all year, this winter it was even worse. It was impossible to see around the snow banks if cars were coming down falcon. They drove so fast and you could not see them around the snow. As a mother of three very active kids, this small fix would make me feel more comfortable allowing my children to bike to school and around our neighborhood.
