I opened this issue 541 days ago. Bill Kennedy Way is a major thoroughfare for cyclists, providing one of the safest I-20 crossings along the southeast corridor (only the Cherokee St. crossing in Grant Park provides a safer passage, but it doesn't provide for northbound trips or access to the beltline as well as BKW). All it would take would be some light demolition, rebuilding a short section of sidewalk and curb, and repaving a patch of the street. Hardly a TSPLOST-sized project scope.

Since I reported this issue 541 days ago, the road condition has gotten 541 days worse. The bridge expansion joints on Bill Kennedy Way where the street meets the bridge were erroneously paved over years ago. Expansion and contraction has created multiple cracks, breaks, and a lumps where the street meets the bridge.

Crossing the interstate at most points is horrible for pedestrians and bicyclists since cars on exit ramps often have no stoplight. For instance Northbound on Moreland there is never a safe time to pass the exit without fearing a car will emerge from the exit ramp of I-20.
