Description

Why do the snowplows have to hit the mailboxes on our street. We have had to replace the mailboxes over and over because the snowplows hit them all the time. And the mailboxes are not cheap, since they are right off the street for the mailperson to be able to deliver the mail. Who will pay us for those mailboxes being destroyed? Hopefully the city or county. I have seen the men when they come down the street on Broadway and they are smiling when they just plow the snow onto our driveways, and once they pass the drive a little bit there goes the mailbox. That is why people see them all crooked and hanging down and being to the side or ripped apart and then we tape them or pick them up and try to keep them standing up so we can get the mail. Please fix this problem so that the mailboxes don't get destroyed.
