Description
The area in and around 30th street station is covered by several different LEOs (PPD, Homeland Security, Amtrak Police, Penn Police , Drexel Police, SEPTA police). Despite this fact, there is literally zero law enforcement capability in the area. It's a free for all of reckless drivers on cell phones, blowing red lights through crowds of pedestrians. What's the city's excuse for failing to enforce the law? Where are the police ticketing texting drivers as is practice in Center City? Who has to die for the news and city to pay any attention to 30th street station?

Frustrated (Guest)
I once witnessed a car drive up over the sidewalk on the NE corner, through a crowd of pedestrians and proceed to park at the station.
The police inside were completely oblivious. Someone could have driven a tanker truck next to the building and noone would have noticed.

took the train yday due to the snow. watched as 3 cars blew the red light at 30th and market, nearly plowing through about 30 people crossing on the green.
it's frustrating. i really don't expect phila.gov to do anything about this, just noting it on the public record.
