This is incorrect. As of 7:45 AM on 3/9/15 the condition of this sidewalk had not changed from the photo. It is 4 inches of solid ice with a clearing of one steps-width across.
From the City of Cambridge's website:
"Remove or melt all ice within 6 hours of the time the ice forms. The path on shoveled sidewalks must be wide enough for someone using a wheelchair, walker, or stroller (at least 3 feet, preferably 4 feet wide)."
This sidewalk is on Prospect St, a major pedestrian thoroughfare. It is absolutely not compliant with the City's Snow Removal Ordinance.
