Description

I know I have complained and so has many others. The company trying to fix this problem is not fixing it. Westminster lane is horrible, all over. We were in the middle of getting new pavement. The intersections and 1 half of a side still only milled. This is the problem. The company came this week and tried to fill in the these craters (no longer just a pot hole) but the pieces of ashalt just came up. Now there are junks sitting around. The new parts of the roads have only 1 layer of pavement. (can I assume there will be 2). Now all this new pavement is messed up because they did not finish. I have lived on this street for 29 years and own my house. I was excited to get a new road finally and now...
Well, the only way I see in the future this being fixed, after our weather events, is that the whole road will have to be milled again and started over. If the company doing this says otherwise, they are full of sh....
Not that I am a road construction person, but why didn't they concentrate on getting at least 1 side completely done instead of doing half of this side and half of this side, then the other half of this side.... (Westminster has a medium) . During the winter, that should not be the way things are done. Also, the 1 side that has only half pavement was done in 35 degrees and light snow. This is probably why the road is already coming up. I talked to a worker 1 day and asked the question of temp. He said ideally, 45 degrees. Well the other side was done on a day that the high that day was 40. This company you are using I do believe is not doing their job correctly. It is only costing all of us more money. (I pay taxes).
We really need someone from the city to come out and survey the situation when the weather clears. There needs to be a plan of action and just going back and fixing the issues from the weather, to me, is not the solution. They have messed up from the beginning and need to be held responsible.
thanks

PS- 1 more thing... I hope there was a reason they took the pavement all the way to the curb of the medium. It is different than before. Also, I mentioned a second layer. I assume this because there is a lip from the pavement to the concrete drainage connected to the curb. So, the water is not running to the drainage things. This is 1 reason I see some pavement coming up again because they didn't finish it before the weather. Hence, the reason they should have gotten 1 side completely done.

thought you guys needed to know
