It is astounding to me that members of the current administration who live in East Rock and shop at Romeo's and the East Rock Pharmacy are so blind to the inadequate plowing and maintenance of Linden Street and Orange Street between Edwards and Cold Spring. Re-election is not that far from these people's thoughts nor should it be from your own. The performance of city managers is evident in how they approach the livability of this city. I watch a plow go down Linden from Foster to Orange at around 1-1:30 on 3/4. It went down the center of the street not even trying to clear the snow from two handicapped parking spaces. That plow probably sent the city a bill that we will pay for. And while I'm writing be really careful on English Drive entering from Orange Street and heading towards Hamden and the East Rock Park entrance. The road is so riddled with potholes that it in danger of washing away.
