Description
Extremely dangerous as vehicles just plow through the intersection, without stopping, at 30 miles per hour. Multiple deaths will result if this is not addressed. Either traffic calming (e.g. a large median island to prevent passing) should be used, or the bus stop should be moved from the north side of Elm to the South Side of elm, beyond the stop sign.

Putting in a median curb, like the ones the city recently installed at Edwards & Livingston or at Woodward Avenue, would be quite inexpensive, and would eliminate this situation.
As an added benefit it would reduce speeds, as even when buses are NOT blocking the stop sign visibility, drivers still blow through this stop sign in excess of 40 miles per hour.
Would anyone like to volunteer to complete a Complete Streets Request?
