I noticed this morning on my way to work that somebody was salting 1st ave west. I am grateful for those who are taking the time to make sure that the sidewalks in front of their business or residence are safe for the public. Thank you again for making it easier for people to get around in downtown Prince Albert.

Also the Rotary trail is VERY slippery.

My job involves walking around PA on the side walks not much you can do with them blame the weather i had a lady today ask me how can you walk on those side walks so fast i told her to go to Canadain Tirer and buy some spike cleats they work really good

It's pretty difficult walking out there, anywhere, even worse where people tried to keep their sidewalks clear of snow. When walking tonight (delivering flyers), even trying to be careful, and wearing grips, it was slow going; it did have me thinking, about how some residents are unable to clean their walkways and nearby walkways, and how much people could be more neighbourly and help each other out, and take initiative to clear nearby sidewalks that are not in front of anybody's homes. I imagine there is a lot of melting salt being sold these days. Sand is probably more environmentally friendly, but messy. Does anybody know of an easy, but effective, solution??

Does the liability for neglecting the ice on public sidewalks rest with the city of Prince Albert? If a senior slips and breaks a hip, can they sue the city for willful neglect? As an avid cyclist, I experience everything first hand. Siast uses a melting compound. How is it that by Luckys and Rona - that stretch is PURE ICE. I walk on the frozen grass, just for my own safety. Today is thursday Jan. 12th and the ice is still present by Rona's and Lucky's along 15th street.

I don't like the trent towards the americanized frenzy to sue your fellow neighbor. Yeah people and the city ' should ' salt their sidewalks. But let's be realistic. If you live in Saskatchewan and are scared of slipping, buy some cleats.

this city should adopt some of the tools that Ontario has for sidewalk clearing. the machines are very good at doing this specific job. i know i used to live in Elliot lake Ontario. someone put a petition together i would be glad to sign it. these sidewalks get worse and worse every year, these city workers need to do more...

It is a shame when the city cannot even clean the sidewalks that exist around the Alfred Jenkins center. They haven't been cleaned and the snow is being trampled on it making it dangerous to walk on.

People should take into account that the city has a budget and most city owned businesses have a person designated at a city owned establishment to perform these tasks... im just tired of people always complaining about the workers... they are seasonal workers and next time your driving past keep your comments and your speed down they have families too... just another dedicated citizen of Prince Albert.

Snow removal in P.A. is a JOKE! Is it a big surprise that it snowed in PA in January? Why isn't the city prepared? Other citys in Canada use machines to clean snow off sidewalks, is this too sophisticated for PA? Is it too hard of a concept to grasp?

We get very little snow in PA, but when it does snow, it seems it takes weeks or months to clean it up. Disgrace!
