Same problem today. Cars parked across the street from the school while dropping off children are making the street too narrow for two cars.

Parking Enforcement has been ticketing all cars impeding the free flow of traffic on Mountain Ave.

Funny because when I saw the white parking enforcement vehicle on Mountain ave the other morning he drove by several cars that where impeding traffic flow. Perhaps it was the passenger in the car that prevented the parking enforcement officer from doing his job. Should the parking enforcement officers have passengers in the cars??

Yes, there are times when there is more than 1 person in the Parking Enforcement vehicle. They are all assigned areas to patrol and perhaps the parking enforcement vehicle you saw was responding to their area that they are responsible for. We will continue to ticket Mountain Avenue for vehicles impeding the free flow of traffic.

Thanks for the information, in my opinion it does not make much sense for parking enforcement to drive by cars that are impeding traffic flow, especially if they have two enforcement officers in the vehicle, and not ticket the cars.
Perhaps given that we had historic snow amounts that traffic enforcement could just ticket cars as they pass them rather then passing cars impeding traffic flow to go to another area of the city. Just a suggestion but it has been over a week since the last major snowfall and cars are still parking in the middle of our streets. The city has to do more to enforce the parking ordinances. Perhaps towing is a better option then ticketing. I know over 400 cars have been towed since the first storm but how many have been towed in the last week for parking to far from curbs?
