Description
I don't expect anything to come of this because, frankly, the City is thawing out and police have better things to do. But I wanted to report it all the same. At approximately 1:45 today a driver pulled up onto the shoulder of the greenway about 10 feet behind a No Parking sign and let his dog (off-leash) out of the car. The dog ran across the foot bridge toward the playground (this is at the Beaverdam Greenway, near Devonshire). I called out to him that I thought that was a no parking zone and he said,"Nope. It stops right there," and pointed to the sign. I told him he was tearing up the greenway, but he seemed not to care.
I kept walking, then decided to turn around and get a picture of his plate. I could see him in the distance, standing beside his car, looking at me, which made me wonder if he was watching me all along. Given the recent news reports over road rage and parking spaces, I thought it might be best to just turn around and go home. It's not worth it. And if you call dispatch, they ask your name, which I don't feel comfortable giving.

Area Resident, I don't know if you're familiar with this area, but there's plenty of parking on the other side of the street. Nottingham is not a heavily traveled. It's so narrow, there aren't even road markings. This guy was just entitled and lazy.
COR, thank you for your response!
