Description

The traffic light and the intersection of Andrew Jackson Pkwy and Highland View Dr needs arrows to aid making left turns off of Andrew Jackson onto Highland View in both directions. I watch near miss incidents happen here almost on a daily basis

After a previous review of same request for this location, Traffic Division noted: A turning-movement count indcates that left-turning volume is low. There are no turn-lanes. Accident history is good. There was not a critical number of right-angle crashes (two in the previous two years). Based on volume, lack of turn lanes & accident history, left-turn signals are not recommended.
