Description
The sidewalks at St James Episcopal are a mess. This is a continual nuisance every time there is a storm. Can something PLEASE be done with the leaders of the church to ensure they take care of their property?

There are a couple of churches on College Ave that have been regular offenders for years. Repeatedly raising the issue with the city and more direct action has *finally* led them to stop neglecting their obligations to the public.
Last year a sign was posted on one church on College saying "What would Jesus do? Shovel!". That might be worth considering pasting to their door.
I don't know what it is about churches in particular that makes them feel they can raise a big middle finger to their communities by ignoring their shoveling responsibility.

Good Afternoon,
This issue has been addressed by our health department. Please be advised that even though we may issue tickets, that by no means assures the resident will now shovel their sidewalk. Have A Great Day
