I totally feel your frustration because there are issues all over the City that I have reported and a lot of them seem to just be ignored. I don't think it is that they don't care, it's just that the City is in such poor shape that they are simply overwhelmed. They don't seem to have the manpower and/or funds needed to keep up. With that said, I would call COT Streets and Traffic Maintenance at (520) 791-3154 and make sure they created a work order for this back when you reported it in February. If a work order was created, ask to speak to a maintenance supervisor to see why nothing has been done yet for over two months since you reported it and if they can give you a projected time frame of when they will be out to repair. Best of luck to you.
Hi Robert...no problem, glad to try to help fellow concerned citizens on this website...yes COT stands for City of Tucson. The number to call to report issues outside of Tucson city limits in Pima County is the Pima County Transportation Department at (520) 740-2639 or you can report online at https://webcms.pima.gov/cms/One.aspx?portalId=169&pageId=65988 Thank you for caring about your area enough to continue to report even though it can be really frustrating when issues continue to be ignored. I am hoping issues reported on here and through other proper channels start to get more attention that they deserve. All the best to you.
