As of April 3, 2012 this tree issue has not been resolved. The dangerous branches still threaten to cause injury and damage.

After nearly a year if not more, the dangerous branches hang over the street near the intersection of Glen and Bellevue. The city has been forewarned about this issue and serious potential of a pedestrian or someone driving their car being hit when one of these damaged and dead branches falls. It is only a matter of time. The right winds or the weight of snow or ice will cause these branches to fall.
