Description
Sometime during today snow plows have pushed mounds of snow in front of 762 Orange Street blocking a storm drain and eliminating one of the precious few parking spaces. With the projected dramatic drop in temperatures predicted this needs to be corrected before this mound becomes an iceberg! Prompt attention to this matter is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

This and all issues reported for this general area have received no support from the City during this hard winter. As a result, life for the residents and the multitude of daily visitors for this busy area has been made unnecessarily difficult and unsafe.
We have been asked to report all issues via SeeClickFix by the City. For this tool to be effective, the City must actively participate. Often it is a dialogue among the residents and when the City responds it's a "boiler plate" response with no commitment. Please know that this is disrespectful and insulting to the residents. Also, when safety issues are ignored, that sends another message. If the City wants this tool to be used, meaningfull responses with commitments and measurements are needed. Otherwise, it's a waste.
With the thawing temperatures a City road barrier embedded in the snow mounds on the corner of Orange and Linden will surface and needs to be reclaimed by the City.
