Thanks for reporting. The City agrees! We wish that all our citizens were careful about where they place their trash. Currently our Parks crews do not have the resources to clean our streams along the greenways. We do ask that citizens volunteer for the Big Sweep (http://www.wakegov.com/swcd/involve/Pages/bigsweep.aspx). The Big Sweep is a citizen ran program that gives volunteers the chance to clean waterways and roadsides.

What a great idea! Thanks so much!!! The only problem is that the ones that will be cleaning it up are the responsible citizens that live near these areas. And the ones that make the mess are the scum-bags of the community that don't give a darn. In which we keep helping the scum-bags by giving them easier access to everything in this community. Right??? So we will continue to clean up after them, and continue to pay more taxes so that our local govenment can give them more and more so that we can continue cleaning up after them more and more. Looks like we're going round in circles... now that's progress!
