there are at least a half dosen street lights that have been burned out for months on the 5900 block of Colbert in Lakeview. There is also multiple pot holes and chunks missing from the streets. The sewerage and water board claims that FEMA is responsible for the remainer of the street work to be done. Also, Lakeview School is still rotting away with broken windows and open gates for vagrants and rodents. It's a slap in the face to all of us who pay into this system... we have become ok with this being the norm. I promise, it's not like this in other cities. New Orleans is absolutely horrible with their street maintenance and upkeep.
