Description

Traffic signal for cars turning east (left) onto Covington Hwy (278) from Redan Rd often not working. This is the traffic signal at the Race Trac station. 2-minute long green signal allows traffic going straight along Covington Hwy, then a short 10sec green follows for traffic coming out of the Pendley Hills mall. Normally, a short green commences after the Pendley Hills green for the Redan Road traffic, but lately this fails to happen and the traffic waiting at Redan Road is bypassed for another long green light in the Covington Hwy direction. This creates much frustration and dangerous behavior for drivers wanting to turn left, wherein they turn right on Covington Hwy and make illegal U-turns to get on the eastbound direction. Don't blame them as they'll otherwise be stuck at the junction indefinitely.

PLEASE FIX THE TIMING ON THIS LIGHT as it has been a problem for months now.
