On your web page for the building dept it clearly states that your hours of operation are 9-4PM Mon - Friday. On past occasions I've driven down there just to find a sign stating that the building office is closed during normal business hours. Yesterday I planned to drive down to file a permit, called to confirm that the office was indeed open and after having to call several times (building office NEVER answers their phone)and finally calling the tax office to then be routed to the building office spoke with a woman that stated that the office was closed today (Thursday 1-22-15) and would be open on Friday until 4:00pm. Called this morning just to confirm that this was true and again cannot get anyone on the phone. Please amend your web page to indicate what days you are open for business and please have someone answer the phone over there so the poor tax collector doesn't have to act as a switchboard operator.
