Appears the street light was repaired which is directly behind the fire hydrant without the red curb. Issue ID: 1396865. Neither have been acknowledged even though the city crew was apparently there.

Guess the light goes on for a short while, it's now out again. The repairs were not done.

Yes, thank for fixing the light. Strange not to at least acknowledge Issue ID: 1396865 given the light you fixed was directly behind the unpainted fire hydrant curb. The crews were there, had to see it. In fact parked the truck next to it while working on the light. Does seem like a rather inefficient use of resources. Just hope it doesn't become an issue if there is a fire in the neighborhood.

Street lights and curb painting are generally done by different crews. It is unlawful to park in front fire hydrant regardless of the curb color.

I understand how different crews would be assigned. Still, it takes different crews to acknowledge an issue as simple as this? Obviously people don't follow the law but a red curb does help remind them it is illegal. Thanks for responding back.
