All along that block (Google Maps gives those numbers 373 to 423) but it is from Audubon to Trumbull ending at 415 Orange Street. One new section has been done over. The roots of the ash trees are breaking up the walkways making them uneven. Around this block someone has ground the unevenness down to lessen the tripping hazard, but not on this strip. It is my understanding that, if a tree root breaks up the sidewalk, it is the cities responsibility to make it good or to pay the damages if someone sues. Perhaps this section is next on the list to be replaced. I hope the idea of replacing half a walk is gone forever--they become uneven and trap rain in the middle of the walks as it is in the next block north.
