The City of Huntsville has reviewed your service request, however the ditch you reported is not under our purview. This ditch is owned and maintained by the Alabama Department of Transportation. Thanks for responding to this issue. Just to clarify the property we are talking about. The ditch is not the issue in question. Rather the area between the ditch and the CVS pharmacy property. It has not been mowed for a long time. It is a mowing issue and not a ditch issue. So is ALDOT responsible for mowing the area between the ditch and the CVS pharmacy property?

Thanks again for the response to this unsightly issue. As I drove by, I observed the two landscaping crews that actually knocked down the dead weeds and grass and piled all of it up in the drainage area. However, apparently the weeds, trash and grass are to be left there indefinitely since no one has removed it since yesterday. Could you possibly have someone remove it? If this small spot were cleaned up properly I suspect it would be mowed properly by the CVS mowing person this Spring.
