Need safe crossing for families on bikes!! Timing of nearby lights and blocked view of traffic from path makes this crossing awful! Please put in pedestrian operated light for crossing!

Thank you to whoever it was that started this request! It is a very scary thing to watch bikers, pedestrians and families cross at this intersection and I am surprised that nothing has been done to remedy this already as it seems so dangerous.
I would like to add that the same is the case where the trail crosses Yale and Heights Blvd at 7th Street.

This is needed so badly! We use it multiple times a week. So many families use this trail and it is extremely difficult to cross. One time I was out with my kids in our double stroller on the trail and within 20 seconds of us crossing the street two cars collided right on 11th and Nicholson. One of the cars smashed into the light pole right next to the trail. We were so close to being hit by this car.
Another dangerous spot for this same trail is at 7th and Yale. It will be even more difficult to cross once the apartment complex is complete and occupied.
