Description

Parents dropping their kids off and picking them up (8 a.m. - 8:45 a.m. , 11:45 a.m. 12:15 p.m. and 2:30 - 3:15 p.m. weekdays park on the South side of Rosalie Street between 30th and 33rd Streets. This side of the street is no parking all the way up and down Rosalie. They should be ticketed for violating the No parking, no picking up or discharging passenger zone which are clearly marked in this area. Not only is it dangerous for them to park on the south side of the street, it makes it almost impossible to get in and out of our driveways for those houses that are located adjacent to the school. I have seen several instances where young, small children dart out between the parked cars (big SUVS and VANS) and almost get run over by cars trying to pass through the conjestion during the hours above. Fair Lawn police should patrol the area more regularly and ticket violators.
