I have contacted the housing authority directly as I saw the junk outside too..spoke to mike said he is the assistant director and he could not care less about this issue or the prop basically said to call someone else. left voicemails for both the COT property manager Sharon Birch with NO response and her boss Peter Staba with no response ! The Housing authority is supposed to monitor the tenants of the prop they own and they are NOT. The tenant does not maintain the yard, remove snow or put garbage out properly. They have more than one dog when the lease they have specifies they can only have one pet. There is all kinds of garbage outside. Also these people have been living here for years and aren't they supposed to be able to buy it after living there two years or have to move? Isn't that what this project was all about ? NO one monitors the tenants to make sure they abiding by the rules of the lease and Housing authority . There are only a handful of Housing authority owned properties in this development and the housing authority does not monitor..you always know which ones are not individually owned by the junk and unkempt lawns..so sad

Elizabeth, I want to work for the city of Hartford housing authority. Everyone would hate me because I'd make sure outside of their homes are kept nice and sanitary. SMH at Housing Authority.
