Three different SR's are open on this issue: SR# 223105 which is over 1 year old, #267374 - 9 months ago, and #302634. This is a busy street, and dangerous without lane markings, because careless drivers wander all over not realizing it is a 4 lane street, 2 each way. How long does it take to get a few lane lines painted? I have driven this road every day for over 2 years and like many others consider it dangerous. What does it take to get it resolved. I would think that taking care of this would encourage development in The Gulch.
The fact that nothing has been done just seems to indicate that Metro does not care about maintaining its infrastructure or about public safety of its streets.
The PW Traffic Division has reviewed this request for revised pavement markings at this location, and a plan for new markings was forwarded to our sign shop for completion. Be advised that this website is not monitored regularly by Metro Government, and it is better to contact Customer Service at 862-8750 for any Public Works issues and requests. You can also report issues and concerns through our online customer service form at www.nashville.gov/pw.
