People on the 1600 Block of Wallace Street are using the area in front of the vacant lot as a dumping ground. I have witness neighbors from both sides of the block dumping trash there days before the scheduled city trash pick day. When I have confronted these dumpers they claim that they thought it was a designated dumping area. Signs need to be posted and fines imposed for illegal dumping. This is becoming a serious sanitation issue and health hazard.
