A. A larger than normal storm or French drain has been installed next to the sidewalk. During rain it dumps a large amount of water on the sidewalk which not only floods the walkway, but it also seems be be starting to undercut the sidewalk. Not sure if it was installed correctly, but it is certainly going to have long term issues.
