Description

Last night while crossing in the cross walk- my coworker was almost struck by a vehicle. The car had to swerve to avoid hitting her. This is a constant issue at this crosswalk. no one ever slows down or stops for pedestrians. If a car does stop - the other cars go around them and pass right through the crosswalk whether there is a pedestrian in their path or not. Something needs to be done about this before someone ends up getting hit. It is dark at 5:00 and the crosswalk is not well lit and people are too distracted to pay attention to pedestrians.
