Description

At the base of the southern slope of Patton Avenue in Bremerton Washington, the water flow has become so intense that the asphalt and the underlying soil is eroding and entering the storm drains on Lafayette. Unpermitted construction of decks on the slope above this area as well as added pervious surfaces above this same slope has caused a dramatic increase in water flowing down Patton. The small pits in the attachment were only a few inches deep at the beginning of the year; now they over a foot wide and deep.
