Truck is legally registered and parked with current Indiana 2015 truck plts. And Mike, fyi, when you submit a complaint it is checked on. If the vehicle is located and in violation of a state law or city ord, the responding officer will either attempt to contact the owner of said vehicle and advise them of violation, or cite the vehicle with either a red tag or parking citation. However, if we respond to the location of the complaint and the said vehicle is not located we can't take any action on vehicle (red tag or citation) for obvious reasons. When we red tag a vehicle for a violation, we give them a certain time period to correct the problem, such as 24, 72, or 96 hrs. When we recheck it and the problem has been corrected or the vehicle has been removed, issue is solved. If the situation reappears, depending on violation type, we can either tow it or the vehicle would have to be recited or retagged again. So when you state that it has been reported before, doesn't mean no action was taken by responding officer.
