The rear of this property has become an eyesore in my neighborhood. The residents of this halfway house continue to leave trash on and around the property. If the trash can runs over (as it does frequently), it fills the alleyway with paper, cups, bottles and other misc. items, and blows onto other properties. Multiple buckets, weights, cans, rugs and cigarette butts are left on the ground. It would be great if the City would contact the actual owner(s) of this property and request they monitor their property. This is obviously a serious problem and a homeowners nightmare when living near rental properties. Unfortunately, some (not all) renters don't take pride in the property or neighborhoods in which they live especially if there is no financial investment. This is not fair to homeowners who live in close proximity to these rental properties. As a homeowner, I am hopeful that the City of Richmond will take serious action in this matter.
