Description

Culvert was replaced by DOT when rt 182 was repaved but culvert at entrance to Post office needs to be attencded to as it collects water and ice in Winter due to its being depressed and is needing additional asphalt to bring it up to grade

DOT has done nothing to resolve this problem and with colder weather coming on, the ice and snow will be collecting in the depression for another Winter causing possible safety problems

The Maine Department of Transportation who replaced the culvert has done nothing to eliminate the gathering of water and ice ( in the Winter) and the significant bump that has been left when they replaced the culvert. A less than perfect piece of work

The Maine Department of Transportation replaced this culvert with a less than desirable job, it is hazardous to any vehicle arriving or leaving the post office and in the Winter the sunken area is filled with water that freezes to make it worse. Transportation workers have been there and so far nothing has been done

The Maine Department of Transportation caused this serious defect when installing the new culvert and have refused to repair it.
