Description

We are on the list for help with our driveway when the graders come by. My husband is 74 with two artificial hips. I am 68 with a bad knee. The first time the snow clearing happened, no one came back until almost five hours later. By then, I had just finished moving the snow/ice. They pushed the snow/ice off the neighbours walkway and left ours on the road. The second time the snow clearing happening, our neighbor cleaned the driveway as he did not want me (female) to try to clear it. The last time, my husband went out to talk to the grader operator. He cleared the driveway and left the ice/snow on the sidewalk in front of our property. We can no more move the snow and ice on the walkway than we can move the snow/ice pushed into the driveway. This needs to get better. Could to loader operator not have a list of individuals needing help as they clean and just do it as they come along? The way they work is great .. two graders and one loader. We watched them all three times and the loader sits quite often waiting for the graders to finish what they are doing. That leaves time to clean those drive ways and walk ways that need help. Coming back with a supervisor in a truck at the end is such a waste of time and leaves a lot of people frustrated.
