Just someone from the area but trees are not overgrown. Compare them to the neighbors. The yard has ferns planted and grass isnt on the best shape. Really all it needs is the front flower area on the souteast side to be cleaned and or painted.

I've seen this property as well as that of the neighbors. This is a classic dispute of people's visions of what a yard should look like. On the one hand, we have the complainant, probably a transplant from the north, who wants his trees sculpted into unnatural shapes, if he has any at all, and his yard covered with either driveway or grass with no natural plant cover, resulting in a sterile, uninteresting yard, like the type he probably had back home up north.

On the opposite side, are we who think trees should be allowed to grow naturally, only trimming them when they block walkways, or become hazardous, and there should more than just grass in a yard, It should have abundant natural Florida, or tropical plants and ground cover.

The yard needs sod, or ground cover in the bare spots, and a good trimming of the ground cover. The trees are just fine. In fact, I would be more inclined to complain about that ugly basketball hoop in the neighbor's yard.
