Time to buy an SUV? The road froze and the patch popped. If there is a point in question, it's when is the road slated to be rebuilt? It's obvious the roadbed is done but also it's too narrow. Of course it will take a decade to get through the environmental studies, EPA, Army Corps of Engineers, engineering, public discourse over losing wetland, funding shortages, numerous City Council meetings, and public workshops.
Well, that was a very balanced answer to my rather snippy photo and remark. When I moved here the road was pretty good, but the continued heavy construction, especially in Derby Downs, has broken the road bed down. I report really bad issues from time to time, just to see them patched in this way over and over again. They did fix the major problem at the corner of McRedmond just in time for Christmas in the Country (!) but that corner is begging for accidents with drivers trying to avoid destroying their cars. I'm always surprised development projects do not accept more responsibility for road use and abuse although I am not sure what or if they do pay for in this regard. Thanks for your comments, John.
Operations and Maintenance crews repaired the popped patch on 12-15-14. Thank you for your report. For reconstruction suggestions, please contact the Engineering department of the City.
