Description
the lights on 58th st. at 1st. ave. south, central, & 1st. N. are not in sync. when heading north. The one at 1st ave. N. turns green 1st, then central & 1st. south change. So when you're driving north, you don't make all 3 lights.

This signal set has always been like this; it's due largely to the necessity to synchronize the 3 E/W roads along their length, which makes it hard to make it through.
The first 3 or 4 cars northbound will generally make it through all 3 if they're all paying attention; it's a bit harder southbound, largely because the green dwell on 1S is less than that on Central.
I'm not sure if this is fixable, but I look forward to Bill's reply.

Despite the fact this issue was submitted last year, we have forwarded it to the attention of the City's Traffic Operations folks so that they may review their records for any subsequent reports of issues with the timing of the signals at the same location (58th St N and S through 1st Ave N, Central, and 1st Ave S.) If there is any reason to believe this issue still needs the attention of Traffic Ops, please feel free to either re-open this issue, or post a new issue, this time to the attention of the City (stpete.org/action)
