Description

I received a brown yard waste receptacle and was told that yard waste would be picked up every week. They would also pick up bags of leaves and barrels of leaves left alongside the receptacle. I'm sure my neighbors got the same info because everyone in the neighborhood has bags and barrels out. i called the city and was told leaves in barrels would absolutely not be picked up if you have a receptacle. So...these receptacles hold 3 barrels of leaves. My property can fill about 40 or 50 barrels in the fall. The city said I can bring them to the DPW complex. How do I get 40 barrels of leaves to the complex? Anyone have a truck to rent...or would it be cheaper for me to buy more receptacles at $90. a shot? Disgusting way to keep the city clean and run a department!
