Description

Illegal parking in front of Westville PO - people are almost being run over because of poor visibility and parking in between traffic signals

This is ongoing and there doesn't seem to be any will on the part of the city to correct it. Maybe the folks in Engineering/Parking can put bump-outs or planters there?

I use this crosswalk almost daily. I have yet to cross it (with kids in a stroller) and NOT see someone parked there. The last two times I crossed, a vehicle pulled a u-turn while the walk sign was on. This corner is so little-cared-for, has so few signs, and so little enforcement, that I wonder at the city's lack of initiative. It would be lucrative to start ticketing violators. It's the same people, same cars. They would start to learn, eventually!
