Yeah, right. Is it your couch and you want the city to do it for free? Just wondering.. You could bring it to the Salvation Army, which is very close,, before it rains again. Did it rain on the new couch?

The problem with this is that expecting the City to run and clean up or remove individual items that are left around the City is almost impossible, and, if they did then it just rewards the dumper and encourages people to do it all the more. If you really want to solve the problem near Café 9, you need to get a photo of somebody doing the dumping and then they can get a citation which is negative reinforcement. There are specified days of bulk trash removal, and notices can be distributed about how to arrange the City to pick up bulk items like this in an orderly and cost efficient way.
