After attending a midnight release of a video game the other night, I took Quinn back to Harper from Gratiot. I was barely into the intersection before the light changed from green to yellow to red.

It was fine, as you were probably the only car. You made it through. People are ignorant of smart lights.

Actually, I wasn't the only car. There were at least 2 immediately behind me.

you should call the road commission to have them check the light....463-8671

Forget about calling the road commission, they are all MI grads and not smart enough to be able to read the instructions to fix things or even respond to phone requests. As to the lights being "smart", only when programmed correctly.

This light has been flaky for at least six months! One time, it turned green for Quinn, and the walk sign was on for crossing Quinn! Other times, it will stay green for about 10 seconds, other times, much less. MCRC says it's working properly. It is NOT! Especially worrisome is the walk light on at the wrong time. What is MCRC waiting for???? A lawsuit when someone gets injured or worse?

MI grads? At least they are not Ferris State grads, the public works trucks would have beer in the water coolers.

This light is absolutly horrible. I can tell you of 2 different deaths from this light becuase it changes so fast from green to red. Drivers feel they have to race to get through it. Probably one of the worst lights ever. It has been this way for many many years, i dont care about the smart lights they dont work for @#$%!!!
