Description

The intersection of Wainscott Harbor Rd. & Montauk Hwy. floods out with every rainstorm. This creates a dangerous situation, causing vehicles turning onto Wainscott Harbor Rd. from Montauk Hwy. to cross the center of the road confronting vehicles southbound at the intersection. In winter the flooded roadway freezes, causing vehicles to skid through the intersection and onto Montauk Hwy. After many calls and visits to Sagaponack Village Hall, along with letters to Southampton town councilmen, and Hwy. Dept., nothing has been done to correct this situation.
