Description

My elderly parents still dont have power to their home and were told today that they power company (MetEd) woulkdnt be able to get the power restored until November 8th at the earliest. This is unacceptable. Its suppose to get cold this weekend and they have no heat. All their food has spoiled, but they wont leave because they wont leave their animals.

Then why dont you take your parents and their pets in? Do you really think it is humanly possible for electricians to magically restore electric to everyone at the same time when the WHOLE east coast was effected? Its not hard to open your home to friends and family in a time of need like having no electric during the fall/winter season. Believe me I did it and was happy to help.

Way to advertise where your elderly parents live, and brodcast to the rest of the world that they are more than likely not going to be there and that any alarm system isnt working due to the power being out. Ahh, forget it.... its not like criminals know how to use the internet (need a roll-eyes smilie)
