Haha! I know, it's ridiculous that the most recent picture I have of my car was when the neighbor's cat was sunning himself on it. Oddly enough, on the night of the crime there was another stray cat in the driveway that caught my husband's eye. This is when we realized my car was missing. So maybe it was the other cat who stole it. :) But seriously, I can't believe the nerve of someone stealing a car from a residential driveway. I could maybe understand if it was parked on the street or a business parking lot, but a very long driveway in what I thought was a nice, safe neighborhood?!? Unacceptable.

Wow. People are nervy. Someone rummaged through our (mistakenly) unlocked car at 7:30 last Sunday am while it was in the driveway. Our driveway is so close to our house that we can't get our garbage cans out if the car is in the driveway so I guess they don't care much about getting caught. Good luck. Hopefully they will find the car intact.

I'm sorry to hear this. Doesn't that car require a FOB or chip in the key to start it? Was there a key to this car in another car of yours?

That's the same night our Thule roof rack was stolen - we're about two blocks away. Definitely more serious than the usual FedEx packages snatched by teenagers. Have the police been of any help?

The police took my report but I haven't heard anything since. I'm not hopeful they will ever find it in one piece. Have you had any luck with the police, Ravenclaw?

Car is still missing with no leads at all as to who stole it. Ridiculous that people get away with such crimes.

My car was miraculously recovered. It was abandoned on the corner of Bellevue and Goffe Terrace. The car was damaged...busted headlight, dented quarterpanel, side mirror was broken off, front passenger tire was flat and off the wheel. Insurance deemed it a total loss. Not sure if the cops found the person that stole it. I doubt it since the car was found abandoned. At least I got to retrieve the few personal items I had in there.

Thank God and Mother Mary it was found.
