Description
Two new fire hydrants were installed on Beacon St. One at Beacon & Durham and the other at Beacon and Properzi. They were both installed in the middle of the sidewalk instead of the edge of the sidewalk. They both impede sidewalk access and do not meet ADA accessibility requirements. They need to be moved to the edge of the sidewalk while they are still doing construction ASAP.

Good Morning KE,
We installed the hydrants in these locations as directed by the engineer, DCI. They cannot go in the edge of the sidewalk because of the future road job (curb line relocation's) and because of the old water main located in the sidewalk. As far as I know there is still 4 foot width on the backside of the hydrants. Thank You
